McMinnville Municipal Code for Trees

This rule establishes the standards for the amount of tree cover on public and private lands in the city, with the goal of reducing costs for energy, stormwater management and erosion control… and to promote a diverse, healthy and sustainable community forest. Section 17.58.080 provides that all new multi-family development, commercial or industrial development, etc. fronting on a public roadway which has a designated curb-side planting strip or planting island shall be required to plant street trees.
