Code dictates that in all zoning districts, solar panels attached to sloped roofs shall be located entirely on the roof. Detached or freestanding solar panel structures are permitted only in single residence districts and shall comply with all location, maximum height and maximum roof area requirements of Detached Accessory Structures, Section 11-5-7(B).
