Minneapolis Climate Equity Plan: Energy Systems

The Minneapolis Climate Equity Plan is the city’s guiding policy document for climate action. The section “Energy Systems” includes actions that will reduce emissions from fossil gas by 35% citywide by 2030 and achieve 100% Renewable Electricity citywide by 2030. Actions ENS.3.5, ENS.4.4, ENS.4.6, ENS.4.7, and ENS.4.12 promote solar adoption, including rooftop solar.
