Minneapolis Urban Forest Policy

The Minneapolis Urban Forest Policy contains standards, guidelines, and recommended practices that help protect, maintain, and manage the city’s urban forest and green infrastructure. The Policy promotes an expansion of urban tree coverage, use of pervious paving and unpaved boulevards, and use of planting islands in parking lots.
