Minnesota Perennial-Dominated Grassland Restoration and Meadow Conservation Guide

This guide provides basic steps to restore a grassland dominated by invasive perennial weeds to a conservation meadow in Minnesota. Conservation meadows are a wet grassland designed to closely mimic native wet prairie and sedge meadow using seed mixes that have many native species adapted to the restoration site. The guide includes recommended protocol for site assessment, vegetation removal, seeding, hydrologic restoration, and long-term management.
