Morgantown Parking lot landscaping requirements

This code requires tree planting in and around parking lots to improve aesthetics and environmental quality. Along parking lot perimeters, one 2-inch caliper tree must be planted every 20 feet, with three shrubs between each pair of trees. Inside parking lots, landscaped islands of at least 160 square feet must each include one tree, and every third parking bay must have an 8-foot-wide strip with one tree per 50 feet. These requirements aim to reduce heat, improve air quality, and enhance the visual appeal of parking areas.
