New Haven Reflective Hardscape Requirements

New Haven set the goal of reducing the amount of heat reflected by hardscape or paved surfaces by requiring development applications with one-half acre or more of impervious cover must either demonstrate that at least 50 percent of all non-roof hardscape will be shaded, or that it will be constructed using a material with a SRI of at least 29
