The New Jersey Stormwater Best Management Practices Manual (BMP manual) is developed to provide guidance to address the standards in the Stormwater Management rules, N.J.A.C. 7:8. This guidance offers state wide regulations on vegetation and landscaping, green roofs, bioswales, pervious paving systems, and other Smart Surface strategies that support municipal stormwater management. Such stormwater management standards that are mandatory for new major development across the State of New Jersey.
