Newark Design Standards for Parking Lots

This rule establishes design requirements for parking lots in Newark. This includes: (f)(2) – for drainage, pavement slopes shall be provided to ensure proper drainage and eliminate standing water and icy conditions. The minimum pavement slopes are 1.0%, however, in situations of flat areas, additional measures to address drainage such as slotted drains or pervious pavement may be used. No slopes shall be greater than 5%
