North Las Vegas Residential Design Incentive System

North Las Vegas Code of Ordinances § 17.24.090(5) awards density points for green building practices used in residential design to incentivize different aspects for building and site design. Green building programs eligible for the incentives includes Energy Star Certification or Water Smart Certification, Southern Nevada Home Builders Green Building Initiative Certification, and LEED-H certification, with more points awarded depending on silver, gold or platinum levels.
