Oneida Porous Pavement Encouraged for Stormwater

This Oneida Ordinance requires the use of best available technology to “minimize off-site stormwater runoff, increase on-site infiltration, encourage natural filtration functions, simulate natural drainage systems, and minimize off-site discharge of pollutants to groundwater and surface water.” The Ordinance further states that such technology may include measures such as retention basins, recharge trenches, porous paving and piping, contour terraces, and swales.
