Oneonta Tree Committee

The tree commission advises the mayor and council on tree planting needs, recommends tree species for municipal streets, parks, and public spaces, provides guidance on the care, maintenance, and removal of trees on public property (and private property upon request), assists with a master street plan by suggesting appropriate tree usage, identifies and recommends the removal of problematic or unhealthy trees, and conducts studies to provide tree-related recommendations to the municipality.
