Oregon Bill to Establish Solar Rebates

In 2019, Oregon House Bill 2618 was signed into law. Section 2 of the Bill provides that the Oregon State Department of Energy shall adopt by rule a program for providing rebates for the purchase, construction or installation of solar electric systems and paired solar and storage systems. Rebates under this program are made from funds credited to the Rooftop Solar Incentive Fund established in Section 3. See the Oregon Solar + Storage Rebate Program website for further details.
