Parkersburg’s Off-Street Parking Space Requirements

This code establishes the minimum requirements for off-street parking spaces, including some stormwater management measures. It permits the use of permeable pavement and encourages the inclusion of bioswales and rain gardens in parking lot designs to help manage stormwater and reduce flooding. The code also promotes energy-efficient practices, such as using solar-powered lighting in parking areas to reduce energy consumption.
