Passaic Food Access & Security Plan

The Food Access & Security Action Plan works to determine the feasibility of transforming a historic site into a thriving community hub that addresses food insecurity and fosters economic growth in the Eastside Neighborhood. Site selection proposals prioritized retrofitting buildings with green infrastructure, such as solar energy systems, as well as geo-thermal systems. Site improvements also incorporated elements of resiliency, particularly concerning stormwater management solutions.
