Phoenix Environmental Quality and Sustainability Committee Memorandum on Cool Roofs

The City of Phoenix’s Environmental Quality and Sustainability Committee drafted a memo to provide information on cool roofs generally and around the role they could plan in the Phoenix area. The memo describes cool roof costs and benefits, the city’s existing efforts in this space, and highlights several pathways that Phoenix (and other cities) can take to expand cool roofs.
