Portland, Maine Cool Roof Ordinance

This Portland, Maine ordinance establishes that, in proposed buildings or additions with an aggregate roof area greater than 2,000 square feet, measured horizontally, and, for residential projects, greater than nine residential units, a minimum of 75% of the roof area must meet cool roof standards or include shade structures or PV panels.
