Portland Standard For Stormwater Management

The City of Portland Stormwater Management Manual establishes requirements related to design and implementation of stormwater management facilities in Portland. Site design requirements include guidelines around the reduction of impervious areas, including the minimization of impervious areas through the use of permeable pavement, removal of abandoned pavement, and avoiding the use of compacting soil in undeveloped areas. Section 3.2.1.2 Permeable Pavement: permeable pavement can be designed under the simplified or performance approaches.
