Provo Tree Preservation Ordinance

This Provo ordinance establishes that efforts must be made to preserve public trees, including adjusting construction plans to protect tree health. The City Forester must be consulted during the design phase to ensure tree protection specifications align with Provo City’s standards. If a public tree must be removed, written consent from the City Forester is required, and the appraised value of the tree must be paid to the City for the purchase of replacement trees.
