Reading Shade Tree Policy

Reading’s tree policy defines responsibility for shade trees on streets and highways and establishes a Shade Tree Commission to advise on all matters relating to these shade trees.

Chapter 600, Part 9, § 600-913 states that a minimum of one shade tree per newly constructed principal residential unit and/or business establishment shall be required.
