Reno Tree Planting Requirements for Landscaping in Residential and Nonresidential Districts, Including Parking Areas

Reno Land Development Code § 18.04.805 stipulates the minimum number of trees and shrubs in required landscape areas. For residential districts, one tree and six shrubs is required for every 300 sq feet of required landscaped areas. For nonresidential districts, one tree is required for every 300 sq feet of front yard landscaping plus one tree for every 10 parking spaces. At least 50 percent of the required trees shall be evergreen.
