Richmond Parking Lot Canopy Coverage Requirements

This Richmond ordinance establishes that large parking areas and gas stations must be improved and maintained with trees. Parking lots must have a projected tree coverage area equivalent to not less than 30 square feet for each parking space, while parking areas associated with car maintenance and dispensing gas must have a coverage area no less than 40 square feet for each parking space.
