Rio Rancho Requirements for Flood Management, Including the Use of Green Infrastructure for Stormwater Treatment

This rule establishes policies procedures, criteria, and requirements to help minimize public and private losses due to flooding. This includes policies for stormwater to (C)9: Promote and encourage the use of green infrastructure/low impact development (GI/LID) for water conservation in landscaping and in the treatment of stormwater prior to discharge to the waters of the U.S.
