Riverside Ordinance on Sustainable Landscaping

This Riverside ordinance creates standards for water-smart landscaping in response to ongoing pressure on the City and the State’s water supply. The stormwater management and rainwater retention section encourages landscape areas designed with porous surfaces, rain gardens, swales, and retention ponds to capture at least the first inch of rainfall.
