Salt Lake City Design Ordinance Encouraging Green Roofs and Reflective Materials

This Salt Lake City ordinance establishes standards for building design that include a recommendation to include a green roof and/or accessible roof deck to support a more visually compelling roof landscape and reduce solar gain, air pollution, and the amount of water entering the stormwater system. They also recommend incorporating materials with a high Solar-Reflective Index.
