San Francisco Green Landscaping Ordinance

This San Francisco ordinance requires that the front setback area for new buildings—including garages and additional parking—must be at least 50% permeable, or made up of permeable pavers and landscaped areas. It also requires that below-grade parking be located at certain depths to provide space for street trees.
