Sandy Water Efficient Landscaping Ordinance

This Sandy ordinance establishes guidelines for the design, installation, and maintenance of water-efficient landscaping for new and reconstructed projects, including public agency projects, private commercial and industrial developments, institutional projects, landscaping installed by developers in multifamily residential developments, and landscaping in single-family residential areas. Landscape plans for these projects must incorporate water-conserving and/or native plants, deep-rooted plants on slopes, and low turf cover.
