Scranton’s Climate Action Plan sets goals to increase renewable energy capacity in the community by 20%, promote building decarbonization with a focus on energy efficiency, enhance water conservation by promoting sustainable water management practices, expand urban tree canopy by 50%, and enhance biodiversity and conservation efforts through the restoration of natural lands and wildlife habitats.
