Shreveport Tree Landscape requirements in Residential and Non-Residential Districts

Non-Residential District & Use Landscaping Requirements- One shade tree or an ornamental tree must be provided per 50 feet of street frontage within the landscape edge between the below-grade open parking and the street right-of-way. Residential District & Use Landscaping Requirements- One shade tree or three ornamental trees must be planted per 500 square feet of planting area. Required trees and plantings must comply with the list of trees and plants that are suitable for local soil and climate conditions, as listed in Art. 10.12.
