Surprise Development Standards for Environmentally and Culturally Sensitive Lands

Areas within the city that can be identified as having environmentally sensitive features or cultural resources shall use nonstructural control techniques for stormwater drainage, like maintenance of natural vegetation and buffers; minimization of impervious surfaces through use of porous pavement; and use of low impact development design strategies such has those prescribed in the “Low Impact Development Toolkit” prepared for Glendale, Arizona.
