Surprise Land Development Ordinance

Purpose of ordinance is to implement the goals and policies of the city’s General Plan. This includes promoting the conservation of natural resources and energy by encouraging techniques such as building orientation and site planning, energy-efficient building construction, use of active and passive solar energy systems, on-site transportation management, and other energy and natural resource saving technologies into development projects.
