Surprise Parking and Loading Standards

Code mandates that off-street parking facilities shall be graded and drained using low impact development methods and water harvesting of surface water run-off for watering of the required landscaping. Landscape islands are required in off-street parking facilities to provide shade and capture stormwater runoff. Exceptions are made for parking spaces that are shaded by solar panels.
