Tucson Complete Streets Design Guide

The City of Tucson passed a Complete Streets Policy in February 2019. Contained within its complete streets policy are green streets requirements, which requires that all new publicly-funded roadway development and re-development projects integrate infrastructure to capture the first half inch of rain, and that projects meet a 25% tree canopy cover and a 25% shrub and grass cover. Permeable pavements are encouraged or permitted according to the different applications.
