Virginia Green Roof Incentives Law

This Virginia Law establishes that localities can establish a rate incentive program designed to encourage green roofs in construction and remodeling of residential and commercial buildings. If established, the incentives should be based on the percentage of stormwater runoff reduction the green roof provides. Green roof incentives can also be built into water and sewer rates.
