West Linn Code to Establish Development Practices for Habitat Protection

This rule requires the following habitat friendly development practices to be incorporated into the design of any improvements or projects. This includes:
(1) Landscaping with rain gardens to provide on-lot detention, filtering of rainwater, and groundwater recharge; (2) Use green roofs for runoff reduction, energy savings, improved air quality, and enhanced aesthetics; (3) Disconnect downspouts from roofs and direct the flow to vegetated infiltration/filtration areas such as rain gardens; (4) Use pervious paving materials for driveways, parking lots, sidewalks, patios and walkways;
